in 1992 from Gandhi Desai Secondary in Durban.
Tertiary Education
Completed a Bachelor of commerce degree from
the University of Natal Durban in 1996 with majors in Business
Economics and Business Administration.
Completed a Bachelor of Law degree from UNISA and attended
the school of Practical Legal Training where he received
several awards which included the awards for the highest
marks in Constitutional Litigation, Forms of Business Enterprise
as well as receiving the Outstanding Performance Award.
Mr Pillay started his corporate career at J.P.Morgan Securities
in the Finance and Middle Office departments at their Johannesburg
offices during their re-entry into the South African Market.
He then moved into the food, hospitality and gaming industry
as a franchisee and later as a franchisor and has spent
the last 15 years actively involved in all aspects of this
industry.
He is currently a partner at G.A.P Attorneys where he specializes
in Labour, Property and Commercial Law with specific emphasis
on the food,hospitality, gaming and property sectors.

in 2002 from Merebank Secondary School in Durban.
Tertiary Education:
Tharina completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the
University of KwaZulu-Natal (Howard College) in 2006 with
majors in Business Management and Legal Studies. Thereafter
she went on to complete a Bachelor of Law degree from University
of KwaZulu-Natal in 2009 and successfully completed Practical
Legal Training where she received an award for Outstanding
Performance.
Tharina started her career at Eversheds in Johannesburg
as a student serving a vacation period. She then went on
to serve articles at a Leon Pillay and Associates in Durban.
She was admitted to the roll of attorneys in June 2014.
Tharina joined G.A.P ATTORNEYS
in May 2015 as a Professional Assistant and currently assists
in Commercial, Property and Trust Registration matters.
